CFS Mortgage Corporation was founded in 1982 and currently operates as a mortgage banker licensed by the State of Arizona. CFS is a privately held company with offices in Phoenix, Carefree, and Sedona.

CFS originates all types of residential real estate loans, including conventional Conforming & Jumbo, FHA & VA loans, Lot & Construction loans, and second mortgages/home equity loans. They also originate small commercial loans on a limited basis.

The company employs 38 individuals, 21 of which are loan originators. The average loan originator has over 10 years mortgage lending experience and nearly half of the origination staff has more than 5 years of employment with CFS. The loan processing, underwriting, and closing staff has extensive mortgage lending experience as well. This is substantially higher than the industry standard and has allowed CFS to achieve a highly favorable reputation with its customers, investors, and industry peers.

In 2007, CFS originated over $142,000,000 in loan volume. Specializing in purchase transactions, the company enjoys relationships with many fine real estate agents, custom home builders, and large production/tract home accounts, as well as a variety of other referral sources. Currently, CFS works with Ryland Homes, Universal American Homes, Beazer Homes, Fulton Homes, Mirage Homes, Earlie Homes, Sunlore Homes, Ashton Woods Homes, Morrison Homes, and various others.

In 2007, CFS has been named the top 14 lenders in Maricopa County by the Phoenix Business Journal. CFS is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (the world's largest and most recognized lending organization), as well as the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers, the Phoenix and Scottsdale Board of Realtors and the Arizona Better Business Bureau.
